What's New to Netflix for Kids this Spring?


Have a family movie night planned but sick of watching the same three films (that your kids will agree on) available to stream on Netflix? Check out what kid-friendly movies will be released on Netflix April 1.

Beethoven's Christmas Adventure (2011)

 
Who said Christmas movies could only be watched in December? When one of Santa’s elves accidentally takes off in Santa’s sleigh and loses his magic toy bag, it is up to Beethoven to rescue the lost elf and save Christmas. Starring John Cleese and Kim Rhodes. (PG)

 

Cats & Dogs (2001)

Get your paws on the super-secret-from-human-owners spy war between cats and dogs. Starring Alec Baldwin and Tobey Maguire. (PG)    

 

Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006)

Captain Jack Sparrow returns in the popular pirate franchise to fend off ghostly pirate Davy Jones. Starring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. (PG-13)

 

Friday Night Lights (2004)

Based on H.G. Bissinger’s 1990 novel Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream, Friday Night Lights follows the story of the Permian High School football team in Odessa, Texas, and their obsessive fanbase. Starring Billy Bob Thornton and Tim McGraw. (PG-13)

 

Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003)

When Daffy Duck gets fired from Warner Bros. Studio after demanding the same pay as Bugs Bunny, an A-list actor (who also happens to be security guard D.J. Drake’s father) is kidnapped by the evil Mr. Chairman. It is up to D.J. and Daffy to rescue him. Starring Brendan Fraser and Heather Locklear. (PG)

Based on the popular book series, follow Nancy Drew as she discovers clues leading to the mysterious murder of a movie star. Starring Emma Roberts and Tate Donovan. (PG)

This live-action production of the beloved cartoon series The Flintstones follows dopey but good-hearted Fred Flintstone as he is promoted at his job. Starring John Goodman and Halle Berry. (PG)

A prequel to the 1994 live-action film, the Flintstones take a trip to Rock Vegas. Starring Mark Addy and Stephen Baldwin. (PG)

 

The Iron Giant (1999)

A young boy makes friends with a giant robot from outer space that a government agent seeks to destroy. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Harry Connick, Jr. (PG)

 

The Spy Next Door (2010)

Former CIA agent Bob Ho has decided to leave his career behind to marry his girlfriend, Gillian. Bob must first, however, win the approval of her three children, who haven’t exactly warmed up to him just yet. Starring Jackie Chan and Billy Ray Cyrus. (PG)
