Here’s How Kids Can Attend Long Island Nets Games and the New York Open for Free

Kids can receive free admission to Long Island Nets games and the New York Open through NYCB LIVE’s new program.

NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, recently launched their new “Kids Go Free” program, offering affordable and family-friendly fun at Long Island Nets games and the New York Open.

Kids ages 11 and younger can enjoy free admission to any Long Island Nets game for the remainder of the 2017-2018 regular season at NYCB LIVE in Uniondale with one $20 adult ticket purchase. Tennis fans ages 12 and younger can gain free admission to the New York Open indoor tennis tournament Feb. 11-16 with an adult ticket purchase. Online up to two free kids' tickets can be redeemed at ticketmaster.com by using the code “LIKIDS” at checkout.

"We are excited to offer the Kids Go Free program to make world-class family friendly entertainment more accessible," said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment in a recent press release. "NYCB LIVE is a gathering spot for everyone on Long Island and it is our goal to provide families memorable experiences that they'll remember for years to come."

There are a variety of fun activities and entertainment that kids can enjoy at Long Island Nets home games at NYCB LIVE, including interactions with and dance performances from Team Hype and the Long Island Nets Kids Dance team. A game truck and inflatables can also be found in the Kids Zone.

Additionally, the first 500 kids to arrive at a Long Island Nets game will receive free giveaway items, such as a logo shirt, sweat band, or a pencil case. Parents can also take advantage of vendor promotions such as kids’ meal packages and dollar hot dogs.

The next Long Island Nets home game will take place on Friday, Jan. 26 versus the Delaware 87ers at 7pm. For more information about the Kids Go Free program and upcoming games and events, visit nycblive.com
