A New Wellness Center Opens in Clinton Hill

The massive new space features yoga and meditation classes, as well as healthy food and beverages.

HealHaus, the 1,100-square-foot holistic health and healing space in Brooklyn, opened in Clinton Hill late last month, according to a press release. The new space, at 1082 Fulton Street, features a cafe and indoor/outdoor group programming areas, plus two private practitioner rooms and a spacious backyard deck.

The ground floor cafe serves a selection of curated teas, smoothies, elixirs, and coffee alternatives. They also have four to five healthy baked goods for sale daily, with plans to grow their food section and holistic product line. They also plan to package and sell their HealHaus teas through retail and online outlets later in the year.

In its programming spaces, HealHaus will offer up to four daily group yoga and meditation classes led by some of New York’s best and most experienced instructors, as well as workshops and panel discussions on topics ranging from nutrition to anxiety and mental health. The space also includes two private practitioners rooms where a diverse group of practitioners will provide services like acupuncture and reiki.

“Our Brooklyn flagship location is meant to be an inviting space for everyone and a place of community,” said co-founder Darian Hall in a press release. “HealHaus has top of the line health and wellness treatments by the best professionals and daily group classes that are unique and will help you realize that healing mind, body and soul is more than a trend, but a lifestyle."

"We want people to feel transported outside of the hustle and bustle of New York when they visit HealHaus," added co-founder Elisa Shankle.

HealHaus will be open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (cafe closes daily at 6 p.m.) and class prices range from $18-$20 for a single class. Pricing for private services depend on the services rendered by each practitioner. HealHaus will also host donation-based community classes on the weekends.
