My Gym Adds Three New Classes to Stony Brook and Huntington Station Locations

This month, My Gym is adding Preschool Prep, Ninja Training, and Mixed Martial Arts fitness classes for kids at their Stony Brook and Huntington Station locations.

With more than 550 facilities worldwide, My Gym offers a variety of fun fitness programs for children ages newborn and older. Each class is tailored to a specific age group, including mommy-and-me style sessions, karate classes at three different levels, and Practice & Play hours in which the gym is open to members for free play with parent supervision. Classes are held at the Stony Brook and Huntington Station My Gym facilities. The locations are complete with wall-to-wall carpeted floors, a zip line, a rock wall, and a swing support system. Prices range from $109-$147 for a four-week tuition cycle. A child’s first class is always free.

“We only teach children and that’s it,” says Evan Greenberg, owner of the Stony Brook and Huntington Station locations. “We have 35 years of experience dealing with kids. It’s all we do, and it’s what we’re about.” In addition to their programs, My Gym offers birthday party packages, after-school programs, and community events.

To enroll their children in any of the three new programs offered this month, parents may call My Gym Stony Brook and My Gym Huntington Station directly. The Preschool Prep classes are available for kids ages 2-5. This class will incorporate fitness with academic preparation aimed to help make a child’s transition into preschool a smooth one. Ninja Training, offered to kids ages 4-9, offers noncompetitive activity via relays, conditioning, games, and obstacle courses. The Mixed Martial Arts class is for kids ages 8 and older. Taught by instructors with more than 30 years of martial arts experience, it will cover basic martial arts training and technique.
