Interactive Color Focused Art Exhibit Comes to Manhattan This Summer

The Color Factory highlights the shades of NYC this summer

It can be difficult to get your kids interested in art, but this new family-friendly, immersive art experience will make developing your child’s creative interests a piece of cake. The Color Factory is coming to Manhattan this August to satiate your family’s need for interactive learning and some new photos of your little ones.

If you’re trying to find an Insta-worthy exhibit for the whole family, look no further. After immense success in San Francisco, CA, Color Factory is hitting the East Coast and opening an exhibit in New York City on Aug. 20. Unlike traditional museums, Color Factory is an interactive experience that focuses on the colors specific to the New York City area. Whether you're looking to dive into a sky blue ball pit, or bounce an F train orange balloon through a sunset-colored room, there's something for everyone in your family.

Your family can explore more than 16 rooms of brilliant color, an exclusive neighborhood map that reveals the location of hidden experiences throughout the city, and multi-sensory installations by renowned local and international artists alike. You can use this opportunity to teach little ones about color. Or, if your children are a little older, you can have a discussion about the expressive and open-ended nature of art.

The Color Factory is located at 251 Spring St. in Soho. The exhibit will be open from Thursday-Tuesday, 10am-11pm.
