The highest award presented at Lutheran High School, the Pro Deo et Schola Award, is presented to the senior boy and girl who have demonstrated Christian leadership and positively influenced student activities. Robert Prevete of Plainview and Yeaye Stemn of Baldwin were honored for exemplifying Christian life in school and their communities and gave the closing prayer for the graduation ceremonies.
Congratulations to LuHi’s Class of 2018 as they expand their horizons this fall in the freshman classes at Cornell University, University of Connecticut, Northeastern University, New York University, George Washington University, Princeton University, United States Naval Academy, Binghamton University, Virginia Tech, University of California, amongst many other fine state and private schools.
