Westport Family Counseling is both a traditional and modern therapy group. We offer Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, Couples Counseling, Play Therapy, Parent Consulting, and EMDR. We work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Westport Family Counseling treats a variety of issues including life transitions, mood disorders, anxiety, marital difficulties, stress management, parenting challenges, and prenatal and postpartum depression. We also now offer adolescent groups to prepare teens with the skills, knowledge and self-awareness needed to navigate the turbulent waters of adolescence. The goal is to build resiliency and helps teens gain a sense of competency and empowerment through support and connecting with others. HEALTH
Westport Family Counseling offers outpatient therapeutic services for individuals, couples, and families of all ages. We treat mood disorders such as anxiety or depression, life-transition challenges, family dysfunction, grief, and trauma. We also provide stress management, guidance for behavioral or social challenges, and parent consulting. We have recently expanded, and now offer adolescent support groups.
