BACK TO SCHOOL
Hailed as one of Connecticut’s most talented songwriters, Kevin Briody will lead a songwriting class. Eight sessions offered Mondays, September 20th-November 15th for 4th-5th graders and 6th-8th graders. Students learn about structuring ideas, melody, lyric, instrumentation and will then record their songs. Actor, writer, and director Beau Gravitte will hold the Baylor master class in acting. Students learn the fundamentals of character development, focusing on finding the truth in fun and creative moment to moment work onstage. Eight sessions offered Tuesdays, September 21st-November 16th for 6th-8th graders and high school students.
