For more than 25 years, Lawrence Berliner has dedicated his law career to representing children and young adults with disabilities. In July, Berliner opened his own statewide law office, The Law Office of Lawrence W. Berliner, LLC, in Westport.
Berliner was a partner at Klebanoff and Alfano, P.C. for many years before deciding to branch out on his own.
Berliner specializes in special education law and disability law for children and young adults (elementary age to roughly 21) on the federal and state level. At his new practice, his philosophy remains the same as it has been from the beginning of his career: He's here to make a difference. Berliner's goal, he says, is to remain objective and provide all possible information so that his clients can make an informed decision about all legal actions.
