Direct from Russia, the St. Petersburg State Ballet on Ice, performing since 1967, presents Sleeping Beauty on Ice, staged in the tradition of the renowned Kirov Ballet. For 24 hours and with 7,500 pounds of ice, the Palace Theatre in Stamford will undergo a chilling makeover and emerge as a 40' by 40' ice rink, where a cast of 35 ice stars will glide through the ballet-inspired choreography.
